I am from Trinidad and Tobago and my father sufferred with Parkinson's Disease for 19 years before his passing. We got regular journals from the Parkinson Foundation which helped us in caring for him as well as giving us a wealth of knowledge about this disease. I say THANK YOU and I do hope Michael's memory and work would live on. GOD BLESS Michael.

Iam scared of this disease because its in my mothers side of the family. My mum died it was thought she had Parkinsons Disease as she had tremors and she got a kind of dementia that they couldn't explain. I worry as I get small tremors at night when I lay down and I choke quite often for no reason.
Hope they can eventually find a cure for this

I haven't got parkinsons, yet, but know people and knew people who have - or had as I worked in a mental hospital pharmacy.
I have rls and my doc is thinking of prescribing a strong anti-parkinson drug for me.
May Michael, and all who researched illness rest in peace and the knowledge that the world would have been a lesser place without them.
